Media Release
Effective Date: March 17, 2025
This Media Release (“Agreement”) governs the use of any photographic, audio, and/or video recordings (“Media”) made during IBRA Network events, whether conducted in-person or virtually.
To participate in an IBRA Network event, you will be asked to opt-in to provide consent to agree to the terms outlined below. If you attend an event without registration, your participation constitutes and opt-in to the same terms.
1. Scope of Media Collection
IBRA Network and its authorized representatives may:
- Photograph, film, or record virtual and in-person events, including live sessions, workshops, webinars, panels, or networking events.
- Capture audio, video, still images, and chat transcripts during participation.
- Collect and process identifying features such as name, voice, image, or likeness.
2. Use of Media
You grant IBRA Network a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to:
- Use, edit, reproduce, and distribute the Media in educational, promotional, or archival content.
- Publish Media on platforms including websites, social media, printed materials, newsletters, and affiliated partner channels.
This release applies to both recorded and live-broadcasted content.
3. Data Protection & Legal Compliance
IBRA Network processes media content in accordance with:
- GDPR (EU/EEA)
- UK Data Protection Act 2018
- CCPA (California) and other US privacy laws
We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for storage, access, and deletion of identifiable content. Individuals have the right to:
- Request access to their data
- Withdraw consent (where required)
- Request removal of content where legally applicable

4. Opt-Out / Withdrawal of Consent
If you are a resident of the EU or UK, or otherwise legally require explicit consent, you will be prompted to opt in to any media use.
If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded, you maybe barred from participating in IBRA-N events or activities.
5. Waiver of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive:
- Any right to inspect or approve the finished product
- Any claims for compensation, royalties, or damages related to use of your likeness or voice
- Any claims of invasion of privacy, defamation, or misappropriation
This waiver does not override your legal rights under GDPR or applicable privacy laws.
6. Consent Status
Unless otherwise required by law, by attending an IBRA Network event (in person or virtually), you consent to media capture and use as described above.
